FROM“RELUCTANT” TO
“POWERFUL” LEADER
Through my own personal challenges and growth into leadership I have a huge sense of purpose and empathy with other leaders. I love making a difference and inspiring others to be confident and empowered, to enjoy leadership and increase their ability to influence. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than seeing and hearing the shifts my clients make, feeling their excitement as they positively impact those around them and the organisations they lead.
Having over 25 years’ experience of leading change, coaching others, designing and delivering transformational programmes in both the private and public sector (e.g. Tesco, Ralph Lauren, MTV, TUI to London Borough of Camden, UCL, Surrey County Council), I understand the courage and resilience required to tackle a whole range of competing demands.
Like many of the incredible leaders I’ve worked with, I’ve learnt first-hand how to overcome my ‘internal imposter’ and other ego traps in order to own my strengths and move from reluctant to powerful.
In organisations today, there is a constant change agenda and this demands something different from leaders. Increased levels of resilience, greater self-awareness, agility, and humanity to work collaboratively and in real partnership with others. Leaders are called on to value diverse strengths and viewpoints to produce innovative solutions and vibrant working climates. At the hub of this is relationship - which starts with the relationship we have with ourselves. Self-understanding, awareness and a willingness to be responsible for our behaviour and what we create around us are key drivers enabling effective self-management.
The courage to transcend ourselves and our egos, go beyond what is comfortable, so we continually learn, make a difference and positively impact others.
In my work, I create a supportive and safe environment, so you can focus on the most important issues, achieve the best solutions and ensure you reach your true potential. I believe the best development is fun and engaging, but also to be fully impactful it must touch you at a deep level so you make the profound connections that enable sustainable change.
